Würdet ihr euch zuhause auch so benehmen? Ein Physikprofessor versucht, das Konzept der Entropie in seiner Klasse zu lehren, doch plötzlich treten ungewöhnliche Störungen auf. Allmählich werden die merkwürdigen Geschehnisse immer vertrauter. Eigenartige Bilder erzählen in einer Komödie vom Brechen des Alltags, und der menschlichen Anpassungsfähigkeit in selbst den absurdesten Situationen.

Would you behave that way at home? A physics professor tries to teach the concept of entropy in his class, but suddenly unusual disturbances start occurring. Gradually, the bizarre events become more and more familiar. Strange images fill this short comedy and speak of the disruption of everyday life and the human ability to adapt to even the most absurd situations.

After a fatal accident, bus driver Martin has to cope with the strange requirements of the Office of Rebirth and Reincarnation (ORR) and its administrator, Beate, who pushes him through the stages of rebirth. With humor and a dash of found footage, we rapidly move towards a kind of deceleration.

She dreams of her home and journey—mostly nightmares. We accompany Setare, a refugee from Afghanistan. Sounds, voices and music guide us through the ghostly scenes of her nightmares. The fiction film The path of Ghosts addresses the losses on this path full of dangers, but above all it shows us the other side: what happens to those who reach their destination.

Hasti Setare Karimi (1998) floh mit 15 Jahren nach Österreich. Sie arbeitet als Übersetzerin in der Diakonie, wo Frauen mit Migrationshintergrund geholfen wird. The path of Ghosts ist ihr filmisches Debüt.
