In Once upon a time - and not really, the filmmaker takes an experimental look at her own parents' wedding. Pictures of serious looks, happy faces and something hidden in the stomach are transformed into a dynamic and lively image by the rhythmic montage of the photographs and the tactful sound. The chosen image details slowly reveal the secret that was most likely the reason for the wedding.

Maria Piegat (*2001)studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and works a lot artistically with film and photography. In addition to taking part in several exhibitions, she worked as a set designer on Metal Girl, which was screened at YOUKI in 2023.
